Scientific Method: Concept, variable and Measurement

The Elements of Science chapter provided nurture on the breaks of the scientific border that lead up to the creation of theory. The elements of a scientific strategy are concepts, variables, hypotheses, measurements, and theories. (Hoover and Donovan, 2011). Each element serves as an important part of the scientific method. I will briefly discuss terce of the above listed. Those elements are concepts, variables and measurement.

To describe or provide information on an idea of a subject that warrants it to be passed to the future(a) person, group or generation, words will have to be given to describe the information. The text speaks of the put on of words in describing concepts. Concepts are (1) tentative, (2) establish on agreement, and (3) useful only to the degree that they capture or isolate some significant and definable item in the reality. (Hoover and Donovan, 2011) The text goes on to mention a the process by which a baby gestures in identifying concepts to which he/she can use to communicate until they learn words.
