By 1967 Bobs music reflected religious and social issues. The groups red-hot style of music conflicted with Coxsone Dodd so they organize their own record label and named it Wail N Soul. The label failed in 1967. Before The Wailers signed with Blackwell Island, Reggae was considered to be sold in low-priced compilation albums. The first album with Island records was beautifully packaged and to a great extent promoted. Dissatisfied with life on the road, Bunny refused to play the American tour of duty. He was replaced by Joe Higgs. later on the American tour the Wailers supported Sly and the Family Stone. They were taken come to the list...
