The disorder that I have chosen to discuss is assistance Deficit Hyperactivity disorder or ADHD.
ADHD is a neuro-behavioral developmental disorder. 3 to 5% of the populations are affected by this disorder depending on which criteria is used. The disorder, which is characterized by a pattern of impulsiveness, hyperactivity and a say lack of attention surfaces during childhood. The disorder tends to be more dominant amongst young males or boys. In the majority of cases the diagnostic criteria continues to be represented in adults with most suffering developing satisfactory coping skills as they mature allowing them to compensate effectively with supports challenges.
