Born in Maidstone, England on 1 Mar 1830 to hydrogen Taylor and Hannah Chiffinch. Hannah married doubting Thomas mule skinner and had 9 children. Thomas Skinner died and Hannah later married Joseph Hare who had 11 children of his own, they together had another 4 children. She passed away on 22 Jan 1898 in Kaeo, New Zealand.
